Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Rion Diamond on Wed Jul 22, 2015 11:59 pm

Rion smirked as Reast had begun to talk. Watching the new people talk would surely be interesting. His gaze followed the white haired girl and he smiled, a new one. A new one to obtain. Rion had always been a whore and the new little crew wouldn't make that change. He would be the first one to get her, and he'd make her fall in love. He'd get what he wanted, and then leave her like he always did. That was Rion. Nothing would change. Rion didn't change. Rion was a Monster. He would always be a monster.

Rion couldn't help but roll his eyes as Gabriel had spoken and he flicked him off without a thought. It wasn't a thought. It just happened and truly, he was fine with that. He didn't like the angel anyways.

Next up, was Nya. He had noticed that she had a smile on, a dangerous smile, and he smiled, he loved the unknowing, and he was completely prepared to keep an eye on her and as soon as the thought crossed his mind, he thought that he had sensed something...off when she looked back at the first to introduce themselves. This girl was off. She was doing something to..torture the other girl. She took what Reast had said to heart, 'unless you are certain you can get away with it.'

Next, was Ape, he didn't think much of her, he had known her from the past, and that was that. She had fought against him at one point, he knew how her wing had gotten broken, but he was unsure about how she had died, apparently, it was because of Re. He smirked and watched as the known hostility was evident.

Little Lu had gone next, her cuteness was a weakness for him, and he wasn't going to let that get to him, he was going to avoid her if he could, but, for some reason, he knew that it wasn't going work. Kids were a weakness for him. He claimed not to like them, but somehow he always found himself pulled to them. He was protective and that may have been why.

Kyson had gone next, and Rion rolled his eyes, but something inside of him made him feel proud. He had brought that monster here. That insanity. The craziness was amazing and he loved it. Even when Kyson gave him the challenging look, Rion simply smiled. He knew what Kyson would do before Kyson did. Rion was a strategist and he could read into people, granted, it wasn't always accurate, but he could get the gist of things. Kyson was one that Rion would want to see grasp hold of his powers.

Next, was yet another new person. All of these new people would eventually get annoying and this one was yet another one, but, a lot more awkward. That was a pretty simple introduction, he didn't really get what she was.

And yet, another new person. This one was more boring than the prior, a human. There was nothing else to say about this one.

Finally, Rion stood. "I'm Rion, I'm a Mod-Soul, I'm a monster, a creature, a thief of souls, a Reaper, a Hollow. I'm many things, and I don't plan on making many of you friends. I have a close circle and thats where it falls flat. Stay out of my way, or I promise you that I'll let my true monster Feast. Hollow is craving. So, this is my warning." He looked over at Evony and then winked and sat back down and nodded towards Reast, to let her know that she wasn't included in the warning. The two had worked together for a while now and she had gained his respect. The others though, they would have to earn it. Respect wasn't something that could just be handed out on a platter. Neither was Trust. and Not a single being in here had his complete Trust.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Reast Istoría Vu on Thu Jul 23, 2015 12:21 am

Looking Evony over, Reast tipped her head, her face still unchanging to her comment. She then leaned forward and playfully whispered in her ear. "I would break you. But maybe you can figure that out for yourself later." Taking a few steps away from the woman, Reast continued to observe each individual and how they presented themselves. This was a ticking time bomb, utterly dangerous and foolish to bring all these maniacs under the same roof...Yet...Re was pleased...These where the kinds of Monsters she lived for. The kind of creatures that brought out true thrill and terror in this world. Monsters like Reast herself.

Smiling softly, Re was amused by the personality clashes already beginning to form from creature to creature. But it wasn't until Aeparia spoke that Re chuckled to herself. What a beautiful time that was also. Ripping her heart out and leaving barely enough of her left for her to return with even half a soul. The mere thought of her blood dripping from her finger tips still sent chills down her spine. What a wonderful feeling it was. But that wasn't the focus right now...The voices screamed in her head for more...But not now. Not Now...

Drawing her attention back to the group, Re could feel herself centering again as Lucee spoke...That was right, She couldn't lose it...She could hurt Lucee. The smile was no longer rested upon her lips as she continued listening.  One after another, each person had a differet story to share, but most were fairly vague. As to be expected everyone wanted to be mysterious...wanted to be something special...

There wasn't much to be left to the imagination as each person presented themselves, a natural gift of a Décroissant was to see every single wound inflicted upon a persons body....No matter how old...scarred...healed...Re would always see it. She would see it in the form of stitches, but the stitches would appear to be webs in the eyes of Re. With a single touch...she could pull the web from the wound...reopening the spot just as bad as it had been when inflicted. Each person had their own story...that much was obvious by peoples scars alone.

Refocusing, Re looked towards Rion as he spoke. The two weren't close on any personal relations, but they knew how to work together. They knew what to expect from one another and overall...there was a mutual respect. After all, this is how this band of Misfits had even gathered. Re nodded in Rion's direction, completely being in agreement with his threat towards the others. In would be no doubt to anyone in the room that out of everyone, these two were on the same page.

Reast allowed the room to grow quiet for a few minutes after Rion spoke, allowing his words to sink in to everyone in the room. She then took it upon herself to speak once more. "I am Reast. I am Décroissant, Queen of Purgatory, Angel of Darkness, and possibly even the Monster hiding Under your bed." Re smiled in Ape's direction for a second, taking time to make direct eye contact before continuing. "We all are here for a reason. Our gifts, our curses...We are misfits, but we are the misfits who refuse to die. As long as you are here, you will be safe. Betray us though, and I will be certain to find out, find you, skin you, and allow you to walk into this next meeting with nothing but your muscles and tendons falling apart with each step..." Re paused momentarily as a dark smile formed across her lips. "That's if the blood loss doesn't kill you first." Re wasn't holding back as she spoke this time, instead she was allowing a darker portion of her to leak out. This was something they all needed to hear, wither is be now, or after they had signed their death warrant.

Looking over at Rion for confirmation, Reast then looked back to the many faces, new and old, once more. "We are the creatures that refuse to die. We are the Immortals."

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Evony on Thu Jul 23, 2015 12:40 am

Evony's pupils dilated slightly as her gaze shifted around the room, desperately searching for everyone, someone, anyone. She saw no one. Utterly shocked and confused she blinked. As Evony could once again see the people around the room her gaze snapped to the nightmare. She then let her eyes morph into those of Nya, adapting, no copying the nightmare's eye as recognition before letting them morph back.

Evony's eyes now adapted back into her eye of choice, the eye of a fox. It represented her as a person..had meaning to her. Something not many would understand.

She then realized the danger the Nightmare had within her, the power. She was utterly intrigued by it, by the Nightmare. She quickly became to respect the lad for she had great ability. Evony gave Nya a slight nod followed with a look of respect and acceptance. But no matter what there was an underlying fear of what she could do. The fear of the unknown. Evony didn't like not knowing, she didn't like the uncertainty of it.

She let her gaze switch to trickster, as the object crashed into the room. Her face showed that of amusement at the boy's antics. But she could see beneath the boy's mind games, his behavior. There was something off about him, something that she couldn't figure out and that alone caught her interest.

Evy let her face reside blank, almost bored, as the others were introduced. She could frankly care less about a human or socially awkward misfit's. Then again, as she looked around the room once more, she realized that's what they all were. Misfits, outcasts, loners maybe?

Slightly surprised, Evony became ecstatic at the flirtatious actions of Rion. She loved the idea of a chase, competition. She was a woman of competition. She not only loved it, but she thrived in it. She soon became intrigued as she sent a small smirk towards the lad.

Evy was alight with excitement. She concluded her judgement of the Immortals with," This should be fun."

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Nya Nýchta Phobos on Thu Jul 23, 2015 12:52 am

Leaning back in her chair, Nya allowed each persons vibes to sink into her natural intuition of how the fear factors works. The negative emotions were running high within this room, but that wasn't what Nya found interesting. The threats. The hostility, this is what brought Nya to complete focus. These weren't your typical magic thumpers...These were actual creatures of the Shadows. Those souls you would only hear in stories at bed time. Now this was becoming slightly more interesting than her Carnival. Sitting forward, Nya observed Rion when he spoke, her eyes shifting in color as he threatened the entire group...Now this was tempting..A challenge? Well it would be gladly accepted.

Her focus shifted then as Reast began speaking. In some ways, the two covered the same topics, just differently...Both introducing...threatening, the showing a mutual respect for the other...How fascinating. Even the weak point for the two had similarities. It did seem that each person had far more to them than what met the eye.

Nya then paid her attention back to Evony as she commented on the Immortals, but instead of speaking she looked back to the group around them. Less fear, but definite uncertainty....The one person who seemed to be powering Nya the most was the women in the back...Ape...There was some certain anger...negative emotions... Smiling softly, Nya stood up and exited the room without another word. She had what she needed.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Aeparia on Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:06 am

Several of these new members were very interesting to Aeparia. Others were driving her anger to levels she didn't know she could reach.

Evony was an interesting one for sure, a big flirt. Nya was also interesting, and sensed tension between her and Evy. Interesting.

Gabriel was interesting, as well, speaking from his hood. Ape frowned at him.

Lu, of course, was as sweet and shy as ever. Aeparia kind of liked the relationship they had begun, being her 'auntie Ape.'

Kyson was definitely a loose cannon, but since Rion had brought him in, and Aeparia in, she wasn't sure how to feel about him quite yet. She didn't react as the vision began, and rolled her eyes as it ended. Boys and their toys. Or in this case, abilities.

Winter was less than impressive at the moment, but if Lu had brought her in, she must have something special. Ace was just as un-impressive. Aeparia wondered how a human had even gotten to this place.

As Rion and Reast spoke, Ape only half-listened as her anger was building. As Reast made eye contact with her, Aeparia's hands were balled into fists, her nails drawing beads of blood from her palms.

Blinking as she realized the pain, Ape relaxed as much as she could, standing as the Nightmare began to exit. Casting a final glare at Reast as she began walking, Aeparia made her way back through the basement and to the main hall.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Lucee Carina Sinclair on Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:10 am

Lucee looked to each person as they spoke, so many new faces how could she possibly keep up with them all. She tries not to squirm in her chair, fearing that the older people here will notice her boredom. Lucee decides to try and make a game in her head to remember each persons name.

Kyson seemed like a trouble maker, Lucee decided very quickly she would stay away from him and his mind games. She didn't like his little mind trick with the wrecking ball, the way he dressed or any of his tattoos. She repeated his name in her head humming under her breath very quietly hoping not to attract any attention. Lucee liked music and songs.

Which must have been why she liked Winter so much. She remembered running around the meadow and hearing her beautiful song on her chime necklace. However she seemed unsure here. This worried Lucee, perhaps she had made a mistake bringing her amongst her new friends. Regardless Winter's name was easy to remember.

The human man seemed very boring and dull, frankly Lucee wasn't sure why he was here at all. Already she could hardly remember what he said his name was... Lucee yawns and places her elbow on the table, resting her cheek on her palm. Just as the man stood up, he left. Lucee would have to ask his name again, if it even mattered, she didn't think he would last very long.

As Rion stands up, Lucee feels chills run down her spine. Rion frightens Lucee, however Lucee could sense that this man, self-claimed as a monster, would not hurt her. Not intentionally anyway. Lucee smiles to herself a little remembering when he allowed her to fly on his back. Lucee nods to herself, she likes Rion... maybe, she wasn't entirely sure at the moment.

As the room gets quiet, Lucee quickly looks around trying to remember if she had started to hum too loud. However Reast begins to talk and puts Lucee at ease. Lucee feels safe around her Re Re. She took her in, when Lucee's own parents left her on her own, and the fact that Reast understood what Lucee had gone through and what Lucee's powers were. Lucee's excitement takes over and she looks forward to Re teaching her new things that she has yet to figure out about Lucee's powers. She feels bad for losing track of what Re was saying but catches her last sentence, creatures that refuse to die... Lucee contemplated the phrase repeating it in her head. Lucee would not die, Lucee would become stronger with Re's help, and Lucee would be able to take care of herself in this group of powerful beings.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Kyson Ray on Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:12 am

The room had been filled with emotions now, excitement, fear, anxiety, the room was becoming chaos and Kyson was starting to like it here.  He looked up when Rion rose and he narrowed his eyes, he knew little about him, and finding out that he was something that was thought to of been extinct was actually scary.  Kyson knew fear, he had felt fear at a young age and it wasn't something he was proud of.  Thankfully, he felt safe here strangely enough.  He knew that his past could stay his past and that he wouldn't be judged for what had happened to him.

He saw the glances between Reast and Rion and wondered what their pasts had been, he would have to ask.  He liked knowledge of people because it gave him an insight on how to terrorize them.  He was a loose cannon and he was ready to fire, over...and over...and over.  The hot heads in the room were Reast and Rion and he would have to watch how far he pushed them, he knew his limits even though he could talk his way out of things, but, that wasn't something he could talk himself out of, two powerhouses like that, could end him at anytime.  He would just have to wait for the games to start.  The opening inning was just about over and the fields were about to change.  The question was though, what would happen next.

He stood up once Reast had finished and looked around the room once more, matching names to faces, then he left the room and went to his own bedroom, leaving his door open to hear anything that may happen.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Winter Glockenspiel on Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:28 am

Winter gritted her teeth, the air was tense and she knew everyone could feel it. She peered past Lucee to Ape and followed her struggling gaze to the Nightmare. She was startled to see a mirror reflection of herself. She quickly looked away meeting Lucee's gaze. She felt doubt in Lucee's eyes, and felt a shame wash over her own face.

Itching at her skin she left the room and walked up the stairs finding her way out. She leaned on the perch connecting the house to the ground. She lit a cigarette, gazing off into some distant memory.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Rion Diamond on Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:29 am

Rion watched and listened as Re spoke and eventually, began looking around the room, Re wasn't somebody he planned on crossing, now was she somebody that he would stay around full time. He would just do what was needed. He kept his head up to make it seem like he was focused, but something was bothering him. The Girl...Nya, she was..different, she wanted something, and when she had left, he had noticed that she had a sly grin, she had gotten what she had come for. Who was she.. he knew that she was a Nightmare, he knew very little about them, but what he did know, was that they fed off of emotions, so he knew that she was incredibly powerful right now. The room was flooded with different emotions. He watched her leave and then his eyes fell back to his ring and he turned it. The ring was something that kept the Hollow within him at bay. An extra security measure to say. There were times, like now, when Hollow was craving to feed, that it was more difficult to control him. Rion was going to have a difficult time for a while because he wasn't going to be able to allow Hollow out for a while. The ring would have to work. It wasn't that Rion was afraid of Hollow, but he was afraid of Hollow would do if he was released being this hungry.

He noticed Kyson leave and narrowed his eyes then glanced around once more and followed after him, walking past his bedroom and into the room next to Kyson's, his own room, and he closed his door, then pressed his hand against the door, sealing the room so that nobody could enter, or exit until Rion himself unsealed the room. It was a safety measurement...an extra precaution in case of the ring failing and Hollow coming free. The room may face terror, but the others would remain safe. Rion was becoming unstable. He would need to feast, he wouldn't be able to hold on longer than two more days without an...Accident.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Reast Istoría Vu on Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:42 am

With the welcomes finished, and the threats made, it seem most of the business was done here. At least for the sake of the meeting. Stepping down from the front of the room, Re didn't make eye contact with anyone, her eyes remained focused as she exited the room and headed towards the Living Room. There was something emotionless about Re lately...Something darker. It probably had to do with what had happened recently on the island...With the seal being broken...

Whatever is was, Re didn't wish to include anyone in it just yet. There were better things to attend to...Planning..Scouting...Killing.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Evony on Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:43 am

Evony let her mind take over as she zoned out, not caring what interactions she was missing nor who left or stayed. She had too may thoughts clouding her mind. Mindlessly she began to walk out the door, not saying a word or acknowledging anyone as she passed.

She let her body take her somewhere familiar, somewhere she could be herself and feel more comfortable. As she zoned in on her surroundings she realized she was in a garden, one she would soon call her own.

The red roses of the hedges surrounded her matched the color of her eye of choice, the color having great meaning to her. Evy began to craft herself a crown out of the ruby colored roses, thus making her feel more at home with herself.

Re: Time for an Immortals Meeting.

Post by Lucee Carina Sinclair on Thu Jul 23, 2015 2:02 pm

Lucee suddenly jumps up, realizing now that she had dozed off. She looks up just in time to notice a few of them walk out of the room. Some of them seemed all too excited, that Nya lady made Lucee uneasy. Perhaps she would ask Re about her later, Lucee wasn't quite sure what Nya could do.

Lucee got up from her chair, brushing her wavy blonde hair out of her eyes, naturally to follow Re. She had so many questions to ask her, however Lucee quickly notices Re's face, although Lucee knew Re would not hurt her, Re didn't seem herself lately. Lucee decided to leave her alone for a while, the last thing she wanted to do was annoy Re.

She let out a deep sigh, everyone seemed to be in a bad mood. What was a seven and a half year old supposed to do around a bunch of grumpy and creepy people? Lucee shrugged as she exited the room glancing around the basement and noticed Winter pulling out a cigarette. Gross, thought Lucee, no sense in following her right now.

Oh but what's this, Evony was headed in the direction of the garden. Lucee loved the garden, and Evony seemed like a very friendly person. That's where she would go, besides Lucee couldn't always depend on Re, she had to start taking care of herself. Lucee repeated the earlier phrase in her head, Lucee refuses to die.
